Benny, weishenme do we have to pay to just learn this useful language? I, like many others, couldn’t even afford the cheapest amount, just to learn. The best thing about this website was the fact that it was useful and FREE!! Why does it have to be that much money for a certain amount of time? I can’t even expand my knowledge because this website is now restricting me. I wish it hadn’t changed this way.

I’m going to be a senior this year.
You know, I think Mandarin should be taught more widely across high schools (or schools even below that). Most schools around here just stick with Latin, German, Spanish, and French, and maybe a little Japanese…. I agree. When I was in school, we were only taught French, Italian and Latin!
I too wish I had seen the value of learning Mandarin!
Anyway, keep rocking and keep practicing!

A lot of people tend to think that even though I have a Chinese boyfriend it is just that easy to study. We don’t even get to talk that much personally, let alone study together.
Having a Chinese boyfriend does not mean that I have much more advantage next to anyone else. If anything, I feel pressure to work harder and study harder because I know he will notice more if I make mistakes. Sometimes it’s nicer not being around a native Chinese person, because no one notices your mistakes as easily. | |
