Share |

Abstract : Over there or over here? Which is it? Perhaps it's everywhere! In this experience we'll learn how to direct or express direction.

Dàjiā hǎo, huānyíng lái Bennysland. Jīniān nǐmen hǎo ma? (Hello everyone, welcome to Bennysland. How are you today?) Today I will tell you some words related to direction and location. Do you know how to say “subway station”?, or phrase such as: “over there”? If the answer is no, then you must listen very carefully at today's experience. Are you ready now? Here we go.

should be translated in to “shì”, but we can see there is no “shì” but “hěn”. “hěn” means “very”. Here it is used as “to be”. This is a special grammar. For example, she is beautiful, we say “tā hěn piàoliang”, instead of “tā shì piàoliang”
