Wow! I really didn’t know there are lots of Chinese people in your capital. Actually I’m curious about your country. You know at least so far I haven’t met Dominican people here in Shanghai.

Mei wen ti, wo lai gao su ni! (No problem, Let me tell you!)
“huan ying ni lai” means “Welcome to”.
And you are right about the second phrase, it’s “I’m very pleased to help you”! There is only one small mistake. “hen gao xing” is just “very pleased”. If you want to say “very pleased to meet you”, it’s “hen gao xing ren shi ni”. “ren shi” is “meet”/“to know”.

Hi, Lynie, for your question:
Are you a Filipino? = nǐ shì fēi lǜ bīn rén ma?
I’m a Filipino = wǒ shì fēi lǜ bīn rén.

Hi, ND, here is the answer:
wǒ lái zì duō mǐ ní jiā gòng hé guó = i am from the Dominican republic
lái zì = from
duō mǐ ní jiā = Dominica
gòng hé guó = republic
But you can say it in an easy way:
wǒ shì duó mǐ ní jiā rén = I’m a Dominican
