Hello everyone, welcome to Micro-Class. This is Benny, the most popular Mandarin teacher in the world. Today's micro-class is very very important because you will learn to tell people who you are and where you come from in Chinese. Are you ready? OK, Come with me!
To introduce yourself you need to learn two simple sentences.
First one:
“Nǐ hǎo, wǒ jiào Benny.”
“Nǐ hǎo, wǒ jiào Benny.”
Second:
“Wǒ shì Shànghǎirén.”
“Wǒ shì Shànghǎirén.”
“Wǒ jiào” means :I am called.”
“Wǒ jiào” means :I am called.”
“Wǒ shì means I am.”
“Wǒ shì means I am.”
“Rén” means “people.”
“Rén” means “people.”
“Shànghǎirén” means :Shanghainese.”
And you also can say:
“Měiguórén” – American
“Àodàlìyàrén” – Australian
“Nǐ hǎo, wǒ jiào Benny, wǒ shì Shànghǎirén.”
“Wǒ jiào Benny, wǒ shì Shànghǎirén.”
