Shen me shi hou can be put at the beginning OR after a sentence? That’s awesome. :D As it is longer than quite a few basic words, this makes the whole sentence itself much easier to remember.

Now… Shen me shi hou wo qu Shanghai…

HELLO MR BENNY NI HAO Mr Benny

Please Tell Me Why You Put 吗=ma in this Question? 星期一 你要去 浦东吗?

Xīngqī yī nǐ yào qù Pǔdōng ma? Will you go to Pudong on Monday?

Other Question What MA 吗 Refers To ?

Hello Gorsian

吗ma is a question indicator only. It is used with closed questions that just require a yes or no answer.

Ma is my Achilles heel I always forget to add it and I standing there wanting for a reply but thing comes.

Ma changes a statement into a question. “nǐ hē kāfēi. You drink coffee.” “nǐ hē kāfēi ma? Do you drink coffee?”

hi, i was just wondering if the answer (in the lesson) is also acceptable, or not:

instead of = Shi, wo xingqi yi qu pudong.

can you say= Shi, xingqi yi wo qu pudong.

does changing the sequence changes the meaning?
