| | Pooshybooshy hotmail.com 2008-04-19 / 07:38AM | | Ni hao PB, rang wo lai,
“Gao1 xing4 ren2 shi ni3. Wo3 ming2 zi shi2 Megan (not sure how it would be pronounced), wo3 chu1 sheng2 zai2 ying1 guo2 ren2. Wo3 xi1 wang4 wo3 men neng2…”
Well, I’m missing ‘be friends’ from the above, as I’m not sure which word to use. Which leads me to my own question…
What is friends in Mandarin? I know peng2 you is friend, so… is there something I could or am supposed to add to peng2 you to make it a plural?
Xie xie.

You can say “Wo chu sheng zai ying guo” for “I was born in England” or you can say “Wo shi ying guo ren” for “I am an English person” | |
