ni hao Carlos,

In China, you won’t see any pin yin appear in most of the print materials including book, newspaper and also on TV,DVD…etc. Almost all the messages on there are written in Chinese characters

At schools, Pin Yin is mainly used for Children from age 6-12.

Benny

Xiè Xiè Benny!
I´ve showed some words in pinyin to a new chinese friend from Hong Kong and she couldn´t understand almost nothing!
And also, you and this site are very cool, I am enjoying too much!
