HI this site is so helpful Thank you!
I’m determine to learn Mandarin.
I’m having a hard time pronouncing words start with “Q, C,X, Z” they all sound alike to me. How can I tell them apart by their sounds?

Trina, ni hao. Welcome to Bennysland:)

“Q” sounds like “ch” as the English word “cheese”, “x” sounds like “she”, “Z” is same as English and “C” is like “ts” in “cats”, with aspiration

Enjoy your learning!

Benny
