I think if you want to put the adjective before the noun, you need the word “的de” .. ?

for example
这是一只很漂亮的猫.
zhe shi yi zhi hen piao liang de mao.
This is a very beautiful cat.

Well, i am not sure, because my Chinese is not that good.
