Hi Joseph. In English you translate both “hun tun” and “jiao zi” into “Dumpling”. But the differences are:

1. They look different (obviously)
2. We have sauce for “jiao zi”, but huntun normally we don’t eat with Sauce
3. Hun tun has more choices for its “stuffing”
4. Hun tun is cooked with soup

Cheers!

I always confuse “Hunton” and Dumpling too. But it’s clear now. Thanks, Benny!
