Hello,
This is a wonderfull site!
Can i have an explaination on the expression : 你好拽.
My boyfriend wrote that to me. He says its bad but that its a joke. But does’nt want to explain more, saying its difficult to translate.
I hope my question has been posted in the adequate section.
Thank you.
Happy New Year to ALL!

ni hao, Julie. Welcome to Bennysland. "你好拽“ is not bad, but this phrase comes from Cantonese Movies. Actually, your boyfriend is right; this phrase is very difficult to be translated into Chinese, because originally it doesn’t exist in Mandarin.

I would say the meaning of it could be “You’re so cool or you’re tough” based on the context.
