你好, Benny! I have a doubt!
I know that the word 了 indicates past tense. In the sentence: 昨天我去北京, the auxiliary 了 wasn’t used. However, the sentence is not wrong because there’s a time expression in it. But what I want to know is: if I want to use the auxiliary 了, where would I put it in the sentence? In the end of the sentence? After the verb?
I hope you have understood my question!
再见!

你好, Iury! 了 should be put after the verb to indicate the past tense.
