Hi Benny, I’m having a little trouble with the word “turned”. Can you help me with these examples?
He turned 30 years old last week.
She was so cold her lips turned purple.
Thanks

He turned 30 years old last week = Shàngge xīngqī tā 30 suìle
In this case, we don’t use the word “turn”, especially for past tense
She was so cold her lips turned purple. = tā fēicháng lěng, yǐzhìyú tāde zuǐcún yě biànchéng zǐsè le
In this case, “turn” = biànchéng + adjective
Cheers!
