Nìhǎo!
wǒ shì…. a beginner!
how do you say, “myself” or, “yourself” or “himself”, “herself” or “itself”?
I read somewhere that there was one word to describe them all (zìjǐ, 自己) but I’ve never seen that word anywhere else since! Is that even a word?
I know how to say I/me (我 wǒ), you (有 yǒu), he/she (他 tā), and then how to make them all plural, for example, we: 我们 wǒmen, etc
Xiexie!

how embarrassing! Hi Jen,
Welcome to AskBennyChinese. To answer your question:
Myself = wǒ zìjǐ
Yourself = nǐ zǐji
Tā zìjǐ = Himself/ Herself/ itself (please notice that he/she/it have the same
sound but in different characters)
To make it plural:
wǒmen = We/ Us
nǐmen = you guys
tāmen = them/ they

Benny I see, thankyou!
so, because the different tā’s have different characters depending on Gender or if they are an object, in the plural versions, if i was describing a group of males i’d write 他们, then a group of females i’d write 她们 ?
but then, what if there was a group of mixed males and female? or would you just use 她们?
