Ni hao Benny,
I need your help. How can I say: when, what, who, where, how, between sentences? Ok, I’ll give you some examples.
Do you know when the show starts?

Do you know where I can find a place that fixes…?
I know where they fix or you can get your car fixed.
I got my car fixed in shanghai.
Do you know who that guy is?

The guy who stole your wallet is here.
Do you understand what I am saying?
I understand what your saying.
Do you understand what you’re talking about?
I understand what you’re talking about.
Do you know how to do this?
I know how to this.

1. In fact, “when” in between the sentences is “de shí hòu”, for example:
wǒ zài Shanghai de shí hòu, fēi cháng máng = I was very busy when I was in Shanghai
2. how = zěn me
nǐ zhī dào zěn me zuò zhè ge ma? = Do you know how to do this?
wǒ zhī dào zěn me zuò = I know how to do it.
3. Where = nǎ li
nǐ zhī dào zài nǎ li kě yi xiū wǒ de chē ma? = Do you know where can fix my car?
4. who = shéi
nǐ zhī dào nà ge rén shì shéi? = Do you know who that guy is?
5. What = shén me?
nǐ míng bái wǒ zài shuō shén me ma? = Do you know what I am saying?
nǐ zhī dào nǐ zài shuō shén me ma? = Do you understand what you’re talking about?
6. whén = shén me shí hòu (for time)
nǐ zhī dào biǎo yǎn shén me shí hòu kāi shǐ? = Do you know when the show starts?
