Let me explain how to use those 2 words:
1. 甩 shuǎi = to dump (for relationship)
For example: 我甩了她 wǒ shuǎi le tā = I dumped her.
甩干 shuǎi gān = spin-dry
2. 剥 bō = to shell/ peel
For example: 剥花生 bō huā shēng = shell peanuts
剥香蕉 bō xiāng jiāo = peel banana
