Hey,

I don’t know if you got my message before because I was having computer problems but can you answer a question for me?

I know I don’t know you but I’m interested in this Chinese girl I met at Chinese buffet. She works there and her name is Tina. I’ve never approached a Chinese girl before and didn’t know if I would be coming on too strong if I told her that I though she was beautiful and that I’d like to go out with her sometime. I’m usually straight forward when it comes to women. I’m 28 and I am a black male. Will this be a problem? I’ve never seen such a couple.

I’m only asking you because you are Chinese and a female. Now, I will add that she has a Chinese accent while speaking very good English. And, her much of her mannerisms are identifiable as Chinese.

Thank you if you could help…

Hi Jay,

Traditionally, Chinese girl is quite shy compare to the American girls. They are not that straight forward.

In China we don’t ask girl to go out, in fact we will try to invite them to have lunch or dinner together. To see how it goes.

Then we can take it from there.
