ni hao laoshi Benny! wo yao shuo isn’t mian(4th tone) noodles and face? both have the 4th dropping tone. im confused… so you can use mian but you have to say it in a sentence where it make sense? please let me know before i say something confusing to others.

miàn 面 this word has 2 meanings: 1. Noodle. 2. Face

However, for face, Chinese usually use “liǎn 脸”
