There are many measure words in Mandarin such as:
张 zhang1 – yi1 zhang1 zhao4 pian4 一张照片 (1 picture)
条 tiao2 – yi1 tiao2 ling3 dai4 一条领带 (1 necktie)
件 jian4 – yi1 jian4 yi1 fu 一件衣服 (1 piece of clothing)
家 jia1 – yi1 jia1 yin2 hang2 一家银行 (1 bank)
There’s more than those but you get the idea.
