I to do not exactly know what is ment by these phrases, but I suspect that 份上 should not be taken together, rather 上 is part of the construction 做到 -— 上 with 这个份 sandwitched in between.

According to my dictionary means 本份 ones duty
which makes sence, 本 meanig root, origin and 份
a share, part, ones duty ones original share ..

I guess the translation could be:

if in order to make money is it not our duty ….
for the sake of making money (we) already have fulfilled our duty ….???

But I am not at all sure. Benny help us out here!
