Hello,

Last time I asked you a question about “to be mute.” It means to not be able to speak.
He is mute=he can’t speak due to a disability.

How do I say that?

Let me clear this up even further. Someone who’s mute a person who cannot speak due to a physical disability in vocal cords. So person might have to use sign language to communicate or writing.

Do I just say" Ta bu hui shuo?

Hi Sara,

Thanks for the clarification, now I understand.

To say “he is mute” = tā shì yí ge yá bā or "tā bù kě yi shuō huà
