Hi Sara,

In Chinese “challenge = tiǎo zhàn” it is both a verb and Noun.

zhè shì yí ge tiǎo zhàn = This is a challenge

wǒ yào tiǎo zhàn nǐ = I want to challenge you

Stand up to = yǒng gǎn de miàn duì

confront = miàn lín
