Dear Benny: this afternoon it was very very hot and while we were awaiting a long time for the bus in the warm road, people was suffering and upset. At the end a chinese lady said to us in italian: why are you so angry? I replaied to her:“wei jintian hen re danshi gongong quiche bu lai.” she looked at me, made a laugh and repeated: jintiè hen lo.(it was a pronouciation of “le” very thin and short.) correct?
thanks! I go on to practice no missing oppurtunities!!!

“Re” is the standard pronunciation of “hot”. “le” is a kind of local accent which is usually happened in the south of China.
