再見 or 再见? Well, both of them mean zai4 jian4,which means see you again or literally again to see. About half of all Chinese radicals have two forms to write the same character-traditional and simplified. 見 jian4 is the traditional way and 见4 is the simplified version. For now, I think it would be wise to just learn the spoken language instead of the written Chinese language which is arduous to say the least.
