| | Miss. Word bennysland.com 2007-09-14 / 11:14AM | | Ni hao Harmeet, numbers are very important, let me tell you the rules. Let’s first learn the vocabulary:
bǎi = hundred
qiān = thousand
líng = zero
For example:
yì bǎi = one hundred
yì bǎi wǔ shí = one hundred and fifty
yì bǎi líng bā = one hundred and eight
sān qiān = three thousand
sǎn qiān wǔ bǎi qī shí bā = three thousand five hundred and seventy eight
You can see the way to say 108 is defferent from english. In chinese we say “one hundred + zero + number” ming bai ma? So, how do you say 306? | |
