Hello Benny xian sheng,

I want to know how to say “to turn on” and “to turn off” something? Also, “to turn on and off the lights.”?

Hi Meili,

Turn on = kāi
kāi dēng = Turn on the lights

Switch = guān
guān dēng = switch off the lights
