Hi Benny. It’s me again. :-))
Benny, I’m getting confused with the use of “GEI”….sometimes GEI means:give me ..and sometimes means: give you. Can you explain this clearly, please.

Gei3 给 means “to give” so:
wo gei ni – i give you
ni gei wo – you give me
wo hui gei ni hua duo – i will give you a flower
qing gei wo yi bei bing shui – please give me a glass of ice water

Whatever is after “gei” will be the recipient
