Benny,
Is there different times to use “tao yan 讨厌” and “hen 恨”?
Like saying “i hate you” or “i hate dancing” or “i hate this weather”

Hi Kevin, “恨” is stronger than “讨厌”. It depends on the level that you dislike something.
