It’s confusing trying to figure out which “de” to use at the end because i’ve seen many different situations like
真的 or 记得 or 高兴地. i guess a person just needs practice right? But how does one tell when 地 should be said as “de” rather than “di”?

Hi Kevin,

You’re right, practice is the only way and "地“ should be said as "de” when it’s put after the adjective.
