Hehe:) This is a very interesting question. You know “hong” is red in Chinese. We name this kind of tea based on its color which Chinese think it looks red or “dark red”. That’s why we call it “hong cha”. And here comes my question: why do you call it “black tea”

i do not know why. i’ve never drank black tea, i only drink green tea.
