Hi Benny! Thank you for your great videos!

I often here people ask “zai na li?” as in “where is it?”. However, in your video, you have zai na li as “over there”

is the first way of using it wrong?

Hi Sincedayone.
In case the pronunciation is different, it would be different meanings. zai4 na4 li= over there while zai4 na3 li3=where is it.

Hi, I think it is the tone that confuses you. zài nà li = over there, this "nà has fourth tone while “zài nǎ li”, this nǎ has third tone. And they sound very similar
