Hi Benny, please have a look at the following sentence:

当晚,中国人民保险公司庆安县支公司前来勘察现场,但没有现场清点受损鞋只。第二天上午,该公司一行4人再次来到正大鞋城,对现场进行了勘查、拍照。

In 但没有现场清点受损鞋只, why is 只 at the end of the sentence. I know that generally 只 means “only”, but what does it mean overhere. I’ve never seen 只 at the end of the sentence before, so it’s something that I don’t understand at all.

Hi Lee, here “鞋只” means “shoes”, it indicates plural.
