Ni hao? I love your lessons. I’ve learned so much. You are the best Mandarin teacher in the whole wide world. Ok, another question…are you ready? Do you say some- in Mandarin? Ex: Somebody, some one, something….

Chinese language has the same characters. some one= “you3 ren2”, something=“you3 xie1 shi4”. But it really depends on the situations.

For something, you can also say “yǒu xiē dōng xi”
