Hi Benny You said “ni jiao shenme ming ze” Does that mean, “you are called what name?”. Is it just another way of saying “ni jiao shenme?”. Thanks, you are so great. I am learning everything from you. I hope at the end I become fluent in Mandarin, Arabic, French and English.

Hi Hamaz, yes you’re right, we don’t have only one way of saying “what’s your name”
We can say:

nǐ jiào shén me míng zì? or nǐ jiào shén me?

I am confident if you stick with AskBenny, you will speak fluent Chinese

Benny
