Hi Benny,
I am pleased to watch your videos and it is so helpful for me, and would you like to tell me some more words in Mandarin?
1) The chief of police
2) Detective
3) Employee
4) to keep, how to make the sentences:
a) I keep the thing in the drawer
b) She is so quiet person, she keeps her feeling
5) ex, for example: I was an ex teacher at the school

1. jǐng zhǎng = chief of police
2. zhēn tàn/ jǐng tàn = detective
zhēn tàn is private detective
3. yuán gōng = employee
4. wǒ bǎ dōng xi fàng zài chōu tì li = I keep the thing in the drawer
5. tǎ bù xǐ huān shuō huà, bā shén me dōu cáng zài xīn li = She is so quiet persion, she keeps her feeling
We have many ways of saying “keep”, pending on different situations and sentence strcutures, we don’t have any specific word for “keep”
6. yǐ qián de = ex/ previous
tā shì wǒ yǐ qián de lǎo bǎn = He is my ex-boss
