Benny, there is another word for “must” in mandarin, which is “yao4”. What is the difference between this word and “bi2xu1” and “dei3”?

Hi the standard way of saying “must” is “bì xū”, “děi” is widely used in north of China and it means “have to” and it’s quite oral. I suggest you to use “bì xū”.

Also “yào” is “to want” not must
