If i am not mistaken taiwanese generally do not roll their tongue when pronouncing ‘sh’, ‘ch’ words.. for example, they would pronounce shì as sì, chē as cē.. they tend to remove the ‘h’ word in the words
Taiwan’s mandarin also have some words that slightly differ from standard mandarin in china. for example, they use là sè to mean ‘rubbish’ while china’s one use lā jī.
otherwise, they are more or less the same. once you have learn standard mandarin, you more or less can understand taiwan’s mandarin | |
