hi jenny, first of thanks for your reply in my previous post but i thought tong4 ku3 means painful? and tong4 too means pain..so i am quite confused between their usage.. any idea on tht?

Hi Micahw.
Tong ku is more like a feeling while tong4 is some physical situations.
eg. you hurt your leg. And you leg is tong4. And you shall stay at home and can not go out for fresh air. You may feel tong4 ku3. More clear now?
