Benny, can I ask you, if you were to start learning a Chinese language, which would you recommend more and why: Mandarin or Cantonese?
Also, how do you write and know all the Chinese characters? Do you do Traditional or Simplified method?

But I still provide you the answer that I suggest you learn mandarin as mandarin is the China’s offiical language and is used in the whole nation including Taiwan, Hongkong. Only one province-Guangdong and Hongkong people consider cantonese as their second language. We all use simplified chinese in China.
As the matter of characters, you need to remember more. That’s the only way. | |
