I am a foreigner, and have a foreign driver’s licence. How can I obtain a Chinese driver’s licence? What type of tests do I have to go through? Is it hard?

Firstly, the fact is that Hong Kong / Taiwan / Macau Foreign driver licenses and international driver licenses do not allow for driving in China.
Secondly, processing a driver license in China involves three steps:
— a simple medical checkup
— a theory test
— a road test
Documents required:
— Valid Foreign Country Driver’s License
— Registration Form Of Temporary Residence (From Police station or Hotel)
— Passport with more than 3 month valid visa | |
