Yi hui er…can you say yi dian or just yi hui?

yì diǎn means " a little bit", "yí huì er’ means "in a short period of time.

They are different which have been used in different situations

poestwolf1985, do you by any chance trying to ask if it is possible to exclude ‘er’ at yi2 hui4?

No, you cannot substitute “yi hui” for “yi hui er”. “yi hui” does not mean anything in that situation.

yi hui means something, and it has the same meaning as yi hui er, just checked at www.mandarintools.com
