hi, i know there are several words tht end with ‘zi’ like for instant, jing4 zi, xie2 zi , cha1 zi, and so on.. I would like to know if it is ok to omit those ‘zi’ instead when speaking? because i dont see people normally say the ‘zi’ after them. Like for example, wo3 de xie2 /jing4 zai4 na2 li3? (where is my shoe/mirror?) .. that’s fine right?

Chinese people usually add “zi” but speak lightly. It is better to learn standard chinese. Anyway, some times, “zi” is omitted.
