Hello everyone. Welcome to Bennysland. This is Benny, the most popular Mandarin teacher in the world. Today, we will learn a very useful sentence, which is:

“Do you speak English?”

In Chinese, we say,
“Nǐ shuō Yīngwén ma?”
“Nǐ shuō Yīngwén ma?”


Nǐ” means “you.” “Nǐ” is “you.”


“Shuō” means “to speak.”
“Shuō” means “to speak.”

 

And “Yīngwén” is “English.”
“Yīngwén” is “English.”

 

By the way, you can also say Yīngyǔ. Yīngyǔ.


Therefore, “Do you speak English?” in Chinese, we say,
“Nǐ shuō Yīngwén ma?”
“Nǐ shuō Yīngwén ma?”
