In my opinion, one of exciting things for backpackers is to explore the mystery about a new city on our own. In that case, asking people is always inevitable:
For example
Huǒ chē/dì tiě zhàn zài nǎ lǐ? Where is the train/subway station? |
Chē piào duō shǎo qián? How much is the ticket? |
Nǎ lǐ kě yǐ zuò chū zū chē? Where can I get a taxi? |
Kě yǐ gěi wǒ dì tú ma? Can I have a map please? |
What if you find your lost? Don't be shy, it happens! What you need to do is just let the local people know your situation and ask them for help:
Wǒ mí lù le. I'm lost. |
Wǒ zài nǎ lǐ? Where am I? |
You got it? Keep practicing, I'm sure one day you will use them! Hopefully later than sooner! Zài jiàn!
It's easy as ABC!
