Wǒ shì Benny, nǐmen jīntiān máng ma? Is your job busy as ever? If yes, come with me and today's experience, so you can add some vocabulary to our Office Mandarin. It will certainly help your Chinese colleagues in communicating with you!

Let's use these words.

FOR EXAMPLE:

Ràng wǒ kǎolǜ yīxià.

Let me think about it.

让我考虑一下。

Zhège bàogào wǒ bùtài quèdìng.

I am not sure with this report.

这个报告我不太确定。

Qǐng bǎ zhège bàogào sòng gěi wǒ.

Please send me this report.

请把这个报告送给我。

Nǐ wàngjì sòng zhège bàogào le.

You forgot to send this report.

你忘记送这个报告了。

Wǒ jìzhù le.

I remember.

我记住了。


Have you remember all we learnt above? Yes! Great! Here come another four practical words:

努力

make great efforts

讨论

discuss

FOR EXAMPLE:

Wǒ bìxū nǔlì gōngzuò.

I must work hard.

我必须努力工作。

Wǒ hé nǐ tǎolùn yīxià.

In Chinese, we do not say “I discuss with you”, we say “discuss a little”, “a little” is yíxià in mandarin”.

I discuss a little with you.

我和你讨论一下。

Wǒ zhège xīngqī tiān líkāi Shànghǎi.

I leave Shanghai this Sunday.

我这个星期天离开上海。

Nǐ shénme shíhou huílái

When will you come back?

你什么时候回来?
