Ok, when you walk in a barbershop or hairdressers, the first sentence you’ll say to them is:

Wǒ yào lǐfà.

I need a haircut.

我要理发。

Qǐng gěi wǒ rǎnfà

Please color my hair.

请给我染发。

Wǒ yào tàng tóufa.

I want to perm my hair.

我要烫头发。

If you just want to get your hair shorter and keep the same style, you can say:

Jiǎn duǎn yìdiǎn.

Shorter.

剪短一点。

Jiǎn means cut. But you can also put it in an easy way: duǎn yīdiǎn. Ok, I will see you next time. Xiàcì jiàn!

It's easy as ABC!
