I dont understand the english in these two examples. “He was too early to leave the company” do you mean that he left work early or does it mean that he left the company too early to get any benefits from it

Yes indeed, those two sentences are actually in a wrong order. (translating from Chinese to English isn’t always easy, neither is the other way around o.o)
I think it should be like this:
-He left the company/shop too early.
-Today you were late home.

Vicki and Endriean, I have the same question. I guess Endriean is right. That should mean he was early/late for company/home.
