Yīn wéi míng tiān nǐ bì xū gōng zuò, suǒ yǐ wǒ men bù néng qù gōng yuán… if we were to say- yin wei ming tian ni you gong zuo … is it correct or wrong?

“Rúguǒ nǐ yǒukòng wǒ kěyǐ hé nǐ chī wǎnfàn.”

Why is the “hé” in this sentence? Doesn’t that mean “to drink”?

Actually "hē = to drink (first tone)

hé = and (second tone)

Function words are important__—??, 如果 we don’t know them, we will never be able to connect thoughts and sentences! ??_. Practice hard and 所以 you will be able to fill in the above blanks – in Chinese of course! What’s have to fill in ?? places?
