Raining

It has been raining for almost 3 days, no sunshine. I really hate it. When it rains, Shanghai looks so haze and everything becomes so inconvenient.

My hands and shoes get dirty, clothes get wet and I have to carry my big umbrella to my students office. Moreover, due to the bad weather, there is no taxi.

This morning I was waiting for 40 mins to finally get a taxi. As a result, I was late for my lesson. Luckily, my student is a very considerate person. I appreciate his understanding.

By the way, I am also thinking: what are the advantage you can get from raining? Any idea, my dear citizen?

Hope the rain can stop in the coming 3 days.

Hi Endriean,

Actually, this is a fantastic idea to run under the heavy rain.

Tomorrow we are expecting a very hot summer day in Shanghai

Which part of Netherlands do you live?

Benny

I like playing video games when it rains, especially for game like “Biohazard”.

Do you play video games?

Your picture looks interesting, is it from cartoon animation in Japan?

I know lots of Chinese people hate when it rains but loves when it snows. Some consider snowing to be more romantic. But rain is good too, it cleans up the air.

Hearing about a freak aiccdent that kills someone you know is always hard to believe at first. A wonderful neighbor of ours was on her way home from a church Christmas planning event when her car hit a freak patch of ice on a sharp corner (the adjacent steep hillside was seeping water from recent heavy rains, but the ditch had become clogged, causing the water to spill over the road, where it froze from a sudden hard cold). She wasn’t wearing her seatbelt because she was 1/2 mile from home.Events like this clarify the need for us to sincerely make the most of each day.
